どこでもらって来たのやら
先週から洟垂れ小僧の息子。
少しでも早く治す為
家に軟禁状態でかなりご不満の様子。
でも、明日はお友達の誕生日会。
だから、我慢我慢。


ここ数日の彼のブーム。
私達のお古のゴーグルを被ること。
あと、

　BBCの「TOP GEAR」

という番組を観る事。
やっぱり私達の息子だと
しみじみ実感する。
今日も

　かーず(cars)観たい！

と朝からおねだりされてます。


My son is having a runny nose since last week.
I don't know where he got it.
He cannot go out
in order to get well ASAP
since we're going to our friend's birthday party tomorrow.
He is getting so bored by now
but he has to be patient.

He started being interested in two new things.
One is wearing our old goggles
and watching this TV show on BBC,

TOP GEAR

He already asked me to show it in the morning
with saying this,

"I wanna watch cars!"

He is definitely our son.:)

息子に私の古いフィルムカメラをあげた。
最初はまったく使い方が分からず
レンズをお腹側に向けて
ただひたすらボタンを押していた。

旦那が使い方を教え
ようやく一丁前にカメラを構えたり
ファインダーを覗いたり。

自分の趣味の押しつけだけど
それでも楽しそうにしている息子を見て
やっぱり嬉しさを隠せない自分だった。

ちなみにあげたカメラは
何度も落としたのが原因で
半日で使用不能となりました。（苦笑）


I gave my son my old film camera.
He didn't know how to use it at first
and he got a lot of shots of his jackets.
After my husband taught him how to use it,
he finally figured out
and started holding it in the right way
and looking through a viewfinder.
I know this is "my hobby"
but seeing his happy face definitely made me happy.:)
By the way, his camera is already broken
because he dropped it many times on ground.;(

が好きなのか。
科学的根拠がありそうだと思うのは
私だけだろうか。



Why do boys like automobiles?
Why do kids like Anpanman?
Why do kids like Shimajiro?

Am I the only one who thinks
there is a scientific evidence for these questions?

来た来た。
魔の２歳児。
この前までのは
どうやら助走期間だったようだ。
体調不良も相まって
今まで子育てして来た中で
一番手を焼かされた一週間だった。
今はお互い少し乗り越えた感じ。
そして、家族全員はなたれ。
子育てってすごい。


Oh My Goodness.
It has come.
Yes, I am talking about

"terrible twos"

The one I thought it was
actually WASN'T.


It was the hardest & toughest week for all of us.
My son also got sick.
It made things worse.
Now it looks like we passed the worst moment
but all of us got sick and are having a runny nose.


There is nothing I could get used with raising a kid.

どうやら私が

　おたふく風邪

に罹ったようです。
不特定多数の子供のいる場所に
前以上に行くようになったからかもしれない。
この歳になって
子供がかかる病気にかかるとは。
思ってもいなかった。


そして、今度は息子が発熱。
現在は咳に鼻水にと
辛そうにしている。
心がとても痛い。


I think I got mumps.
I guess it's because
we go to somewhere a lot of kids get together.
I never have thought
I got some sickness
you get when you are a kid.


And now,
my son got a fever
and he started coughing
and having a runny nose.
It's so hard to see
he is so sick.
